The Lake Room boasts a stunning Brassø Lake view from its private balcony, complete with comfy furniture for morning coffee, evening wine, and sunset gazing. These 15-17 m2 rooms are found on the ground and first floors, and you may even catch a glimpse of herons taking flight from the nearby reeds.

The view of Brassø Lake never gets old, and in the Lake Room you’ve got a pretty spectacular one. Featuring access to a private balcony that’s equipped with stylish and comfortable furniture, we can’t think of a better place to enjoy a morning coffee or evening glass of wine – or to watch the magnificent sunsets that Ny Hattenæs experiences. And don’t worry, you can do this in the colder months too, just bring a blanket to keep you warm. Remember to keep an eye on the lake, you can occasionally spot herons taking off from the reeds by the boating bridge. At 15-17 m2, our Lake Rooms are found on the ground and first floors.
Superior Room

The Superior Room is our brightest room because it has windows on two sides. Facing both east and south, the inflow of light is pretty spectacular (and is even more beautiful in person) – and so is the balcony. Featuring magical views of the surrounding landscape and Brassø Lake in the distance, it’s the perfect spot for contemplation. During the summer months, you’ll also be able to see Hjejlen as it passes by Ny Hattenæs, often several times a day. The balcony is also covered, which means you can make the most of it during all kinds of weather. At 17 m2, the Superior Room is found on the first floor.
Lake Room with Loft Space

The Lake Room with Loft Space offers ample space and stunning Brassø Lake views. This room includes a private balcony with stylish furniture for peaceful mornings, relaxing afternoons, and cozy evenings in a magical setting. You might even catch some lake activity. At 17-22 m2, this room is larger and features a loft space that can accommodate two children or an extra adult in addition to the two in the double bed. Access to the loft is via a ladder.
